On the stage

DVS presents an adult show and youth/junior show every year, plus variety, cabaret and other performances from time to time.

Auditions are held for all shows, casting lead roles and ensemble. You don’t need any previous experience to book an audition, and our ensembles cater to a range of performing skills and backgrounds.

Behind the Scenes

You don’t need to perform to get involved!

Our shows require so much more than what is seen on stage to make them a success. Set building, costumes, props, make-up, hair, publicity, musicians and accompanists, lighting, sound, and so much more.

Creative Teams

The DVS Committee receives, assesses and selects pitches for our shows each year, providing opportunities for creative teams in Melbourne’s community theatre scene to propose productions.

The President and Secretary provide information to any interested parties.
